I Love Movies

Hello and welcome! I love watching horror movies because I get super scared and they make me feel alive.

There are so many horror movies out there and it's hard to track which one I watched or not, so I decided to create this webpage to write about horror movies that I watched.

I'm not writing about the plot of the movie, just my opinion. If you click on the poster of the movie, link will lead you to the Wikipedia or Imdb page of that movie.

Under the poster I rated the movie with the stars. Minimum is one star, and maximum is five stars.

Under the star rating is my comment about the movie.

On the bottom you can find some links leading to other NeoCities websites that talk about horror movies.

I hope this little webpage will make you discover some new horror movies and inspire you to watch them.

Feel free to write me an email if you want to suggest to me some horror movie that I didn't watch or if you want to discuss about the horror movies.

1-9

28 Days Later (2002)

This is most poetic zombie horror movie that I ever watched. Amazing bleak atmosphere, awesome cinematography, soundtrack that goes perfectly with the scenes, wonderful feeling of hopelessness. Also, there are a lot of scenes from this movie that Walking Dead series recreated.

30 Days of Night (2007)

Awesome and unique story, awesome effects, scary monsters, all about this movie is awesome!

A

Alien (1979)

AMAZING movie in every regard! Great story, great acting, great soundtrack, great special effects! The movie is just EPIC! Classic and must watch!

#Alive (2020)

It seems that Koreans are really into the zombie horror genre - TV series "Kingdom", movie "Train to Busan", and now this movie, it's interesting to see how they invision the zombie genre and compare it to US and European styles. I liked this movie more than Train to Busan because it was not just mindless zombie carnage, but there are some survival and psychological aspects of surviving the zombie outbreak in a big, crowded city. Although I'm not a big fan of quick style zombies like in Korean production, there were some interesting zombies in this movie and I had fun watching it.

All Hallows' Eve (2013)

I loved Terrifier so much that I had to watch this movie which serves like a kind of "prequel". It was great! Bloddy, disturbing, scary. I had to stop it one evening and finish it during the day, in the train. I love director Damien Leone, and will try to watch all his movies. :)

Annihilation (2018)

Superb atmosphere in this movie - colors, emptiness, concepts, mysterious story. It really kept me on the edge most of the time and the story is unique. There were some nice gory moments, and some creative splatter effects that I really appreciated. Atmosphere reminded me on Last of Us, and I don't know which came out first, game or this film. I wonder was there any influence on each other?

Army of the Dead (2021)

Funny and bloody, VERY BLOODY. Beginning of the movie was very quick and kind of cliche, but when the action started, fun started. A lot of gruesome scenes of violence and blood. A lot of humor, I guess it's one of those comedy horror movies. Favorite scene - tiger eating a head :)

B

Barbarian (2022)

Wow, this movie stretched my nerves like a pizza dough! I was so scared! Great movie! :)

Bird Box (2018)

Definitely a unique story that kept me on the tip of the toes! We never see the "monsters" and it's really bringing the uncomfortable feeling of expectation and horror. Survival horror is really scary!

The Black Phone (2021)

This move was surprisingly good! I didn't have big expectations (horror movies on Netflix are not the best), but the story was superb! I think there was potential for waaaay more blood and gore, that's why 4 stars. Otherwise great movie with a really scary bad guy!

The Blair Witch Project (1999)

Movie that came out when I was a kid but was too scared to go to watch. Finally, 22 years later I watched it and loved it! Great atmosphere, way of filming, story. No monsters, violence, just story and style that makes you afraid.

Bride of Re-Animator (1990)

This movie continues the path of it's prequel Re-Animator - it's bloody, spooky, great effects and awesome story. How did I miss it until now?

Brightburn (2019)

Another recent movie discovered on Netflix, interesting concept, this is some kind of superhero horror film, but instead of a good guy, it's a bad guy. There were some nice violent scenes with gory stuff and generaly interesting atmosphere. I think the acting was pretty good, how the child becomes a killer with superpowers. Not the scariest film in the world, but I'm looking forward for the future films.

C

Cabin Fever (2002)

Fun comedy/horror movie with cheesy acting, over the top scenario and cool concept - virus spreading in the cabin in the woods and people panicking and going nuts.. Join this with the small town population and you have a whole lot of bloody fun!

The Cabin in the Woods (2011)

I love this movie!!! Such an awesome concept! Great story and so many monsters and surprises! The slaughter scene is just amazing! In my opinion, the only weak spot of the movie is it’s name. I don’t think that Cabin in the Woods describes enough how glorious this movie is.

Cadaver (2020)

This was a great Norwegian horror movie! Amazing story, atmosphere, mystery, it hits the right spot between being afraid and having fun! Towards the end of the movie the energy waters down, but they managed to come back!

Cam (2018)

Unfortunately this movie didn't work for me in terms of horror as much as I expected... It had a good start, interesting concept and story, but somehow at the end I felt like there could be much more in terms of monster, horror and plot. They could go deeper, and I didn't really understand at the end what really happened. But still, fun movie to watch!

Cannibal Holocaust (1980)

Controversial, brutal, one of a kind! I heard a story how people thought that the kills in the movie were real and because of that I wasn't ready until now to watch it. I wasn't scary of the movie, but definetly shocked and disturbed.

Carrie (1976)

What a great movie! Yes, acting is cheesy, the story is kind of cheesy and unrealistic, but still, such a fun movie! The prom scene is AMAZING!

Child's Play (1988)

I finally watched this movie! I remember my childhood and being freaked out with the idea of a doll that's killing people. So as I watched this movie, I thought a lot about myself and how I changed. The movie was fun, less scary than I imagined as a child of course. There was a lot of tension building, scenes with the doll Chucky were amazing, and the general realization of the film was great! Great effects with the doll! Can't wait to see more! :)

Children of the Corn (1984)

As a kid, I heard stories about this movie, and how scary it is. I never watched it, but even the name always scared me. Each time I pass by the corn field, I thought about this movie. I finally watched it. It's not as scary as I imagined it. And acting is not the best. There are many things that are not the best, but the film has a great atmosphere, you can totally feel it was inspired by Stephen King's story. 4 starts because of the nostalgia.

Christmas Evil (1980)

I'm late to the party with this movie, discovering it in January 2024, after Christmas has passed. Still, I enjoyed this movie more than I expected. I think the main character was awesome, acting and his lunacy was perfectly presented. The movie was not really scary, and the killing scenes were not the bloodiest, but psychological effects and the music was amazing. Definetly a perfect Christmas movie to suggest to your mother in law who is going on your nerves :D

The Conjuring (2013)

Wow, this was a scary movie! One evening I had to pause, call my wife and ask her to hold my hand while watching a super scary scene! After that I just watched during the day. If you watch this movie, you will shit BRICKS! Five stars!

Constantine (2005)

God I love Keanu Reeves! And I love John Constantine! This movie is so extreme - in one side you have an amazing story, amazing character, brutal effects, and on the other side you have cheesy dialogues and a feeling that you want more, like it's not done. I loved this movie whan I saw it years ago, and I love it now as a grownup. Now it's time to read graphic novels about Constantine :)

Cradle of Fear (2001)

I remember seeing the scenes from this movie in the video clips of the band Cradle of Filth and always had some spooky vibes. I finally watched it couple of years ago and had so much fun. But now, I rewatched it again and the movie is just genious! I love the music (ambiental and black metal), the crazy stories, acting, and cheesy effects! The movie ends and asks for a sequel but I wonder will it ever come... It would be awesome if it does!

Creep (2014)

Fantastic movie! I really love the movies filmed from the first person view, and camera shaking. This movie was simple, two characters, no blood... but man, it kept me streesed and in discomfort all the time. Awesome acting, great concept, bunch of amazing scenes like the wolf and axe scenes. Can't wait to watch number 2!

Creep 2 (2017)

Absolutely loved it!!! I feel like the atmosphere was less tense than in the first movie, but we entered in the head of a murderer and it was so honest, horrifying and fun in the same time. Can't wait for the number 3! :)

Cube (1997)

Yes! This movie is amazing! Unique story, great effects, ultra strong emotions, awesome atmosphere! This movie made me nervous from the beginning to the end!

A Cure for Wellness (2016)

Weird and disturbing movie that I warched with my wife in the cinema and she was traumatised! There is some spooky music, cool locations and brutal dentist scene.

The Curse of Robert the Doll (2016)

I understand that this is an independent movie with the shoestring budget, but this movie was not very good. It had a lot of potential, but there was a lot of bad acting and horror part was not really there, story went too quick and we couldn't really see anything scary, no blood, no visible violence... I liked the part about two persons falling in love, but that's not something I expected in a horror movie...

D

Dashcam (2021)

This was a fun movie, with a great concept, some nice jumpscares and weird characters and some nice rhymes!

Dawn of the Dead (1978)

This movie is a masterpiece! Romero is a f****** genious!

Dawn of the Dead (2004)

I LOVE this movie, one of my favorite zombie movies of all time! So good! Action, blood, story, zombies, characters. It's scary enough and also funny in the same time! Such a genious idea put the survivors in the shopping mall ! :) Favorite zombie: the one without an arm!

Doctor Sleep (2019)

I just LOVE movies based on King's books! This is already the fourth one! I didn't know it's a sequel of The Shining and it was a big surprise :) The story and atmosphere is great!

Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)

Mystical, poetic, erotic, atmospheric, just AMAZING movie in which I fell in love from the first sight. I really love the atmosphere of the castle and the scenes with Keanu Reeves and Dracula are super spooky. Plus, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder kissing, I'm in paradise :)

E

Escape Room (2019)

Oh man... This movie was nice and all but it didn't scare me at all! :(

The Exorcist (1973)

A true classic, I loved every moment of this movie! It was so alien, so weird, disturbing and scary. Perfect horror movie ! How didn't I watch this movie before?

F

Fear Street Part One: 1994 (2021)

Another teenager slasher movie that smells like Scream but with some supernatural elements. The 90s in the movie were nice and there was some nice acting, but I need to watch something deeper, this is too shallow.

The Fly (1986)

Another fun horror movie with great special effects. Really liked the presentation of the film and the transformation of the main character.

Friday the 13th (1980)

Oh man, I'm so disappointed with this movie. I heard so much about it but when I saw it I just thought that it was a bad Halloween movie copy. In my opinion cheesy acting, cheesy story, no special effect and only one jump scare.

G

Gerald's Game (2017)

This movie was based on Stephen King's book and each time I get positively surprised Stephen King is a talented writer, he has such good ideas. The film was great, maybe a little long, but the ending was worth it.

Get Out (2017)

What a movie! Loved it from the beginning to the end! Such a great story, build up, and The Sunken Place scene, it fills me with anxiety!

The Girl with All the Gifts (2016)

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, great story and concept. Better realisation than Last of Us. This is a zombie movie done right :)

Gothika (2003)

Not the best horror movie ever, but I had fun, there were couple of jumpscares and found this high-budget story interesting.

The Green Butchers (2003)

I feel a little bit cheated about this movie. I found it on the horror movies platform Shadowz, with the categories "cannibalism", "gore" and "comedy". Well, it was not gorey, and not scary at all. And not funny either. No bloody scenes at all. Everything is happening in your imagination, but I guess this was intentional. I did enjoy the movie, but it's a DRAMA movie. I enjoyed Danish language, the story and the atmosphere. But, it's not a horror movie. :(

Grimcutty (2022)

Oh my, this was bad... All these new horror movies about social media are not really working for me...

H

Halloween (1978)

I have mixed feelings towards this movie. I heard so much about this classic movie. And yes, I like the first person perspective cinematography, music is great, story is spooky, but acting was really cheesy in some moments and I was disappointed with the special effects. They were boring and could be so much bloodier. I imagined this movie as a song of a death meta band Cannibal Corpse called "Followed Home Then Killed" so maybe that's why I was disappointed since the song is really brutal. But still, classic movie and it was great to watch it.

Hellraiser (1987)

Wow, this movie is golden! I remember seeing this movie as a kid in the VHS store but never actually watching it or exploring what is it exactly. And wow!! Amazing story about pleasure and pain, super cheesy acting and dialogues, wonderful gruesome, slimy and bloody 80s effects that you can see are fake, and super interesting characters. One of the best antagonists EVER, I want to find out more about their mythology!

Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 (1988)

Damn, the bloody bed scene was FANTASTIC! Pure horror! Love this franchise!

Hellraiser 3: Hell on Earth (1992)

Atmosphere is still there, some nice violent scenes, but the story and realization is not as good as before :(

His House (2020)

Very interesting story. I didn't expect that this movie would scare me a lot but wow, it was great, I had to look out from the screen and was afraid even when I watched it in the train on my morning route to the work.

Hollow Man (2000)

This movie made me realize that I really like science fiction horror genre. Labratories, effects, action, I always have fun, and it was the same with this movie, awesome effects. What disturbed me in this movie was the first act of the main character after he became invisible. He touched the boob of his colleague. We men are so pathetic...

Hostel (2005)

I heard so much about this movie when it came out originally but never watched it. I heard some stories that is gruesome and not cool to watch if you like to travel. I generally enjoyed this movie, there was something scary and mystical in the air and torture scenes were cool. Acting was cheesy in some moments though.

The House That Dripped Blood (1971)

This was such a fun movie! It popped up as a reccomendation after watching The Wizard of Gore and I enjoyed every minute of it! Spooky mansion and atmosphere, British culture, awesome stories, I got properly scared but also inspired to live. British people have (had?) some really interesting manners back in the day and I want to explore them in my life also :)

J

Jaws (1975)

Another scary movie that I could watch with my wife! This was a fun movie for which I thought it will not be scary because you know, it's summer, everything is light, and who is scared of the fishes. But there were some great jump scares, some nice blood effects and we were surprised when we saw that this movie was directed by Steven Spielberg... How old is that guy?

Ju-On: The Grudge (2002)

What a spooky movie! Couple of times I pooped bricks while watching it! Not only that, I had to look off from the screen many times, even when watching it in the train, surrounded by other people. Good movie and I enjoyed listening to Japanese language :)

L

The Last House on the Left (2009)

I didn't expect that this movie would freak me out, but it was truly horrifying experience. The rape scene has frozen the blood in my veins! :( The story and acting were great and there was a suspense in the air during all the movie, so good! No monsters, evil spirits, just humans. Favorite scene - nasty attack with the hammer.

Leprechaun (1993)

Yikes, this movie didn't age well. It traumatised me as a kid, still remember the scene with the pogo stick. I even asked my mom is it possible to kill somebody if you jump on his chest... But as an adult, this movie is not scary at all. No suspense, jump scares or mystery. :( I can understand why I was afraid as a kid, his movements are chaotic and grotesque, but there is nothing else... Two stars because of nostalgia.

M

Maniac (1980)

This was an awesome and original movie! I love how it's made from the perspective of a bad guy. As the movie progresses, we find out his story, and the atmosphere is amazing! His lair is atmospheric, the story is cool, and the whole bloody horror thing as unique. Loved it!

Maniac Cop (1998)

Trashy film with trashy acting, dialogues, jokes and story. But I had nice time looking at New York and music was cool.

M3GAN (2022)

I don't know... It's a though cookie this movie. I like the criticism of modern technology. Story is good. But the movie just feels shallow. They played with some hard emotional scenarios (childs parents die), and then just hurried through the though moments, without deeply showing the emotional impact of that event. Shallow.

Midsommar (2019)

Such a disturbing and awesome movie. Watched it with friends in the movie and I don't think that I would be able to see it alone. Great story, great acting, and wonderful killings. Must watch.

The Mist (2007)

Amazing movie from the beginning to the end. Story is keeping you on the fingers all the time, human psychology in crisis situations is presented well and it shows that we are capable of doing bad things when we are afraid. The monsters are awesome and there were some really gruesome scenes. This movie has it all!

N

Night of the Living Dead (1968)

God I love zombie movies! :) What a masterpiece! First movie of George A. Romero that I watched. Loved every second of this movie. Great soundtrack, building of atmosphere, horror, story, zombies are great and sound effects are awesome! Really loved the scene where zombies are eating human flesh. Definetly need to watch more of his movies! :)

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)

Another classic movie that I never watched. I watched this movie just after Halloween (1978) and I had a lot of fun. Special effects were great, a lot of blood, music was loud and cool, and there were some nice jump scares. Since I missed special effects in Halloween, I really had a blast with this one. I never really liked the Freddy Krueger character idea so that's why I didn't watch this movie before, so I was really pleasantly surprised.

Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight (2020)

Not bad, not bad! It's always nice to see a horror movie happening in a Slavic country! :) The story was interesting, there were some nice bloody and scary scenes, but I feel like the antagonists could be more scary and mystical.

Nosferatu (1922)

This movie is now 100 years old and for a movie that old it's really spooky! There are scenes of Nosferatu that are so weird and his faces really spooks you out! There were some wonderful scenes that I don't even know how did they do it and I'm sure they made people in the cinema very scared! :) As for the plot, it's basicaly a remake of Dracula! Cult movie!

O

The Old Ways (2020)

In the movies about demonic possesions usually you have a Christian priest who is performing an exorcism. Not in this movie, this time it's bruja (witch) in Mexico who does it! Refreshing look on the demonic possesions, I loved how the atmosphere was built, really scary. And the face paint of bruja is awazing!

One Cut of the Dead (2017)

Little awkward at the beginning, the movie just kept on giving until the end with it's story, humor and originality. Super fun and inspired me to watch more comedy horrors :)

P

Planet Terror (2007)

I saw this movie couple of years ago, and didn't really like it because I thought that it's not serious enough - I couldn't connect comedy and horror. Now I finally saw the intention of the movie and it was super fun! There was a lot of blood, action and some ultra crazy situations. Scariest scene by far with the boy and the gun in the car. Great sound effect also!

The Platform (2019)

Wow! Original, dark, brutal and shocking film. We humans are capable for such violence and we don't care for each other. It made me think and be very scared. Must watch!

Poltergeist (1982)

Another classic horror movie! This movie was better and better as it progressed. I loved the acting of the children, especially Robbie who looked super scared and little girl who was creepy. There were also some nice 80s gore effects to enjoy but nothing too much. Looking forward to watching the sequels!

Priest (2011)

Another action horror movie, and I wonder how did it end in the horror section... OK, monsters are cool and scary looking, but that's all, there are no real jumpscares, no horror atmosphere and I was never really afraid. BUT, it's a good movie! I really liked the setting, it reminded me on the video game Kenshi, I like the story and I had an awesome time watching this movie. Don't watch if you want to be really scared :)

Psycho (1960)

Loved every minute of this movie! Wonderful cinematography, cool story, great acting, amazing music, uneasy athmosphere, classic and must watch.

Q

Queen of the Damned (2002)

This movie makes me want to become a goth again! :) I just love the metal music in this movie, how everybody look so beautiful, how the locations are so perfect. And movie is so full of goths that I want to listen to more of this music again and watch more vampire movies!

A Quiet Place (2018)

This movie is so multidimensional! First of all, monsters are scary, bunch of jumpscares, but what is the best is the concept that monsters are invited by the sound you produce and they hunt you so there is a lot of silence in the movie and this opens a different world for us. Different kind of scary and waiting for something to hapen. Plus, family of four with pregnant woman, how to keep silent? Awesome muvie with the original idea.

R

Re-Animator (1985)

Absolutely fantastic movie! Awesome story, awesome creepy atmosphere, brutal effects, sometimes funny, but generally terrorizing movie! One of the best so far! :)

Rec (2007)

This is one of my favorite zombie movies, and one of my favorite horror movies in general. It's so original, recorded from the perspective of a journalist camera, great chaos and claustrophobic atmosphere, and scary monsters. You almost feel like you are there. Must watch film. In fact, you should stop reading this stupid review and go and watch this movie. NOW! :)

Resident Evil (2002)

I'm probably biased because I was always fascinated by Resident Evil 3 video game and zombies in general so when this movie came out I loved it from the first moment. I love the atmosphere, zombies, nice jump scares, soundtrack and action elements. No matter how many times I watch it, I love it! This movie will always stay awesome in my heart.

The Ring (2002)

Another movie that I was too scared to watch in the cinema when it came out originally. I enjoyed this movie although the beginning was little cheesy. My favorite part was the cursed tape footage, so mystical, beautiful and scary.

The Ring Two (2005)

Sequel of The Ring (2002). I watched this movie soon after the first one and got little disappointed. Yes, we see Samara Morgan more often, but the mystery disappeared...

S

Saw (2004)

I just love this film since I saw it for the first time sometimes when it came out. Mystical, scary, cold, gruesome and makes you think about your life. Must watch!

Scream (1996)

This movie was so fun! I love how the movie was made, making fun of the classic horror movies with great humor and the way how even the actors know they are in the movie. And it's still scary with a lot of blood and some jump scares. And I was so surprised when we find out the killer!

Seven (1995)

Not technically a horror movie, but more psychological thriller, this movie has some gruesome killing scenes that froze the blood in my veins. My favorite is the sloth killing scene.

The Shining (1980)

I had to stop watching this film in the middle during the night because I was scared and had to finish it during the day. Amazing cinematography, atmosphere, super scary scenes! I spend hours reading the various theories about this movie! Masterpiece!

The Silence of the Lambs (1991)

What a magnificent movie! Wonderful acting, scary atmosphere, x-Files vibes, awesome characters, and brutal scary scenes of flayed people, violence, dead people in the bathtub, psychological... Must watch!

The Sixth Sense (1999)

This movie has such a great atmosphere, great dialogue and some sweet jumpscares. Slow, psychological and holds your attention until the end and then great surprise.

Slender Man (2018)

The movie started slow and until the middle of the movie I thought that I would give it three stars - it was just too slow. But towards the end of the movie, things really started to rock and the powers of Slender Man really made me feel like I'm on a bad trip, scenes were full of anxiety and claustofobia. Also, somehow I like the calm nature of the main character - she was so... zen.

Split (2016)

When this movie was in the cinema I was refusing to watch it, thinking it's a bad movie. Now, years later I finally watched it and I admit my mistake. This movie is awesome! The story is amazing and acting perfection. :)

Spree (2020)

This movie was FUN! I didn't really get scared, since this is more of a satirical horror movie, but still there were some nice kills, story was awesome, filled with action and speed and criticism of social media was amazing!

Stay Out of the Attic (2020)

When I read the short description of the movie on the platform Shadowz I got super scared of this movie. It sounded brutal. Realization of the movie was not the best though. I loved the music, intro was great! But then the script became weaker and as the story progressed the atmosphere got less and less scary. I did enjoy the movie, but it's funny, I was more afraid of the idea of this film, then the actual movie.

T

Terrifier (2016)

Disturbing, bloody, violent and awesome! Art the Clown is such a scary killer! Favorite scene - when he walked wearing womens body parts. So disturbing!!!

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)

This movie was such a pleasure to watch, a true classic! I could see how this movie inspired many many horror movies. Not a lot of blood, but really creepy and scary atmosphere. Absolutely loved this movie :)

There's Someone Inside Your House (2021)

Very nice and fun slasher movie full of action, blood and mystery from the beginning to the end.

The Thing (1982)

I had so much fun watching this movie! Really amazing, gruesome special effects and cool story.

Train to Busan (2016)

I love watching zombie movies and this was a fun movie, but it really doesn't really add anything new or special to the genre. There are more scary, bloody and mystical zombie movies out there. This one was just... Very fast paced.

U

Unfriended (2014)

Interesting supernatural horror movie that's happening online - Skype, messages, forums, internet. It gives an interesting criticism of communication, surfing the internet, our addiction to technology and also talks about power of bullying and cyberbullying. I thought it will be boring movie but there were moments where I was really freaked out. Teens can really be evil!

Us (2019)

Everything in this movie was weird, spooky, and i LIKE it! :) Awesome story, weird music, great cinematography, perfect acting, and the metaphor and social commentary, perfecto! This movie was a real pleasure to watch!

V

Velvet Buzzsaw (2019)

This was a good movie with a nice story! Combining black comedy and horror, the movie managed to give criticism of the high art world and give a pleasure of couple of unique kills. The Sphere is my favorite :)

V/H/S (2012)

I love this movie! The concept, different stories, right amount of violence, fear, weirdness! Everything in it is perfect !

V/H/S 2 (2013)

Genious! That part when the guy becomes a zombie, but his GoPro camera is still on is just EPIC!

V/H/S: Viral (2014)

Oh boy! The quality really fell down in this third entry... What happened?!?!

The Vigil (2019)

This was an interesting and spooky movie that also taught me about Jewish ritual Shemira and some aspects of Jewish way of life. I really love how it's constantly dark in the movie and the house is really spooky!

W

The Wizard of Gore (1970)

There is something special in these old horror movies... The acting, the looks, the story... But they are just fun to watch! This is another classic film from the director who influenced horror genre with original usage of blood and other violence effects. Even if we can see that the effects are fake, there is a lot of gore and people with weak stomach could definetly get sick while watching this.

World War Z (2013)

More action than horror movie. A lot of action, but no soul - I didn't like how camera was constantly moving too quick so you couldn't really see zombies, there was not a lot of blood and gore, and characters were soulless. I liked the part in the W.H.O. facilities, it had Resident Evil vibe, but even this didn't persuade me to give three stars to the movie. There are much better zombie movies than this...

Wrong Turn (2003)

Nostalgia speaking here! One of the scariest movies I watched as an older kid/young adult! I watched it at least 2 or 3 times since. This movie has great suspense building! Really loving the scene in the house! But after that it weakens a little, since the mystery is gone. But still, modern classic, and I can see how it influenced some other recent horror movies.

Z

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead (2023)

This was a fun comedy horror movie about zombies. I didn't know it was made after the manga, and it explains a lot of things - humor, plot, monsters, etc. I loved the criticism of a society where you work so much, that you are basicaly a zombie. We need more free time, and to relax more. :)
